The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity

MANAGEMENT'S COMMENTS ON RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2006

The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity had another outstanding year in 2006. We experienced an increase in contributions of nearly 68% over last year. Management is proud that, for 2006, our general and administrative costs were only 16% of total expenditures, which allowed us to put approximately 85% of each donated dollar to work toward the Foundation’s mission of promoting acceptance, understanding and equality while battling indifference, intolerance and injustice.

As of December 31, 2006, our net assets have increased to $4,900,000, an increase of some 30% from 2005.  This will insure the stability of the Foundation long-term, while at the same time allowing us to significantly increase our funding of various projects, many of them new, as for example our assistance program to the children of Darfurian refugees in Israel.

We would like to thank all the generous companies and individuals who have donated to The Elie Wiesel Foundation and all the staff members and volunteers who make the work of this Foundation possible.
