The Foundation's mission, rooted in the memory of the Holocaust, is to combat indifference, intolerance and injustice through international dialogue and youth-focused programs that promote acceptance, understanding and equality.

The Elie Wiesel Foundation (EWF) is looking to hire a high-performing Executive Director to execute on this mission statement by:

1. Developing new programs, and enhancing existing programs, that meet the mission statement
2. Delivering fund-raising expertise, with an eye to cultivating EWF's existing relationships and developing new ones
3. Executing on our annual fund-raising gala event
4. Seeing the Foundation through a period of rebuilding: personally overseeing development, event planning and programming until executive staff can be expanded

Our ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in the non-profit sector, and is looking for the unique challenge and platform that this position represent. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
